Ive seen many cut up oil filter videos showing Purolator oil filters with sloppy applications of glue on the filter media. Those could become dislodged and get into your oil. Also seen a video where most of the inner core louvers were closed leading to significantly reduced flow. One of them is from the Utuber that does new oil filter videos every Friday. You must have seen it. It was a Bosch brand reportely made by Purolator.

Ridiculous. They synthetic fragrance in febreze products is a neurotoxin and should be banned from all products. You're poisoning yourself and more importantly your developing children. Fun fact, when febreze first came to market it had no scent, that was added later so people could "smell the clean" and they could sell more product. Be smart, don't use febreze, laundry products etc.... with synthetic fragrances.

Sometimes you get what you pay for. I have a Purolator Boss filter on my engine and Super Tech Advanced Full Synthetic oil in the crankcase.

It says silicone anti-drainback valve, but it is black.

FRAM is better! Espicaly the Orange one with the cardboard end caps! I SAY GO FRAM OR GO HOME!!!

Much more helpful would have been a video that helps purchasers of your filters install them, like what the little arrow means, etc.

I have been using Purolator filters for years.dont know if it works better then anything else.but I just chosen for my brand lol no issues

I understand the need for a good filter and routine oil changes at good frequency, but I can't find info about different filter need for synthetic, I kind of think it shouldn't matter. The higher end filters I see go 15, 20k miles, but even with synthetic, that's too much, so why not just regular filter?

Just bought case of "American" Purolator oil filters. What a joke. Picture of the American flag on the box and inside is a filter "Made in China"..... sellout company. Never buying another Purolator product again. Trying to return these as well. Pathetic......

putting the bypass valve on the opening end of the filter makes MUCH more sence.putting it on the bottom allows the oil to wash contaminents off the media then sends them thru bypass straight to your bearings.instead of acting like a filter.it acts more like a holding area for debris untill it can be recirculated back thru the engine when in bypass mode.NO premium oil filter should have such a flawed design.

I like the Purolator Boss filters. Very well made. The one I used is made in the USA in North Carolina. They have great customer service as well. I sent an e-mail to them this morning and got a response in 5 minutes. They have my business as long as quality remains high.

Purolator Boss is an amazing oil. I purchased another one today. USA made or so the one I use is. Well made.

You mentioned stop -start systems being bad when it comes to water. I thought the only bad thing was the repeated starting and stopping of an engine. My Uncle would hear one start up in traffic and he would think that they are physically turning the key. Of course someone from his generation would find all the new things a vehicle has weird and unnecessary. I personally could also live without stop-start. My vehicle does not have it but I hear that the ones that do you can just enable performance mode. Also I have heard some trucks have it but disable it if a trailer is connected. I guess they make the exception for trailers to make the truck safer and avoid getting sued out of business!!

Why are all the filters you make the 15,000 mile ones? Called customer service an they said all filters are 20k but in 15k mile boxes. Sounds like BS to me

An auto store on ebay is selling the blue Purolater One in a white box, no 10,000 mile label. They only show one view of the filter and one view of the box, either the filter is old, or fake. Any chance you might know?
